About

Two sides of my metal art world

Filip Swansky

Industrial engineering

In 2013 I began my career in engineering and design, working as a designer, production engineer and client manager.

In 2016 I opened my own metalworking business: laser cutting, bending and welding. I ran it full time until 2020. After moving, I switched to managing metal-structure projects remotely.

Steel art

In early 2025, living in Warsaw, I realised I wanted to create. So I became a sculptor.

By June 2025 my first sculpture had been shown at two music festivals in Poland, Tauron Nowa Muzyka in Katowice and Varusniak in Warsaw, and then installed for public viewing in central Warsaw.

In autumn I took part in the Autumn Salon exhibition in Minsk and received a diploma for 3rd place in the Sculpture category. In 2025 I designed and built more than seven sculptures and more than ten metal installations.

What makes my work different is the technology: parametric design algorithms of my own and CNC metalworking. I work where engineering meets art.
